Gold ETF Holdings Fall Slightly Over Last Week

Holdings in 13 global gold exchange-traded funds, tracked continuously by, fell by 13,433 ounces, or 0.02%, in the week from Dec. 9 through Thursday. Five of the funds announced fresh inflows, four net redemptions and another four no change. The analysis excludes ETFs for which data is updated infrequently. The largest movement was in the SPDR Gold Trust, where holdings fell by 322,177 ounces, or 10.02 metric tons, Goldessential reports. However, this was nearly offset by a jump in holdings of the iShares Comex Gold Trust of 279,096 ounces, or 8.68 tons
