Gold bounced with the euro overnight after the shiny metal briefly tested below its 50-day moving average for the first time since August, says Janet Mirasola, managing director for metals at R.J. O’Brien & Associates. Copper also ticked cautiously higher. “Continue to watch headlines but bear in mind that volatility will increase with lower volumes as we move towards next week’s holiday short trading calendar.”
