South Fork Clackamas River

The South Fork of the Clackamas River is home to several waterfalls, including the falls of the greatest magnitude known to exist in the entire drainage. The old Oregon City waterworks are located here as well, which blasted 6 tunnels into the cliffs along the river. Very interesting area rich with history. A very informative post on the area and the treasures located within is Here

Lower Clackamas Falls - 60 ft

The lowest waterfall along the South Fork Clackamas River. This waterfall is only 1/4 mile upstream from the confluence with the Clackamas River

Clackamas Falls - 191 ft

The main attraction in the area is the beast named Clackamas Falls. Theres a 300 ft long tunnel blasted in the wall of the amphitheater that allows access to the top of the falls.

Middle Clackamas Falls - 35 ft

This is a very involved bushwack upstream from the top of Clackamas Falls

Upper Clackamas Falls - 20 ft

This one is an exceptionally scenic spot that photos cannot convey. Most that venture down to this spot say the same thing. The rock outcropping across the river (out of photo to the left), the deep green pool, ancient forest, side falls, among others make this spot all its own.

Memaloose Falls - 100 ft in two tiers

Memaloose Creek contains atleast one known significant waterfall. It's also part of the old Oregon City Waterworks and is the site of one of the tunnels associated with the works. There's a lot of info about the many treasures located in the area in This Thread
