Whale Creek

Whale Creek is the stream that flows through the now-closed Indian Henry Campground. Whale Creek holds several significant waterfalls in its rugged reaches. This is one canyon that I only recommend the most experienced folks visit. If you go here, you'll see what I'm talking about.

Whale Creek Falls - 261 ft.

This falls is the biggest waterfall in the Clackamas River drainage. It's one of the hardest falls to get to, but it is a great sight to behold in person. The plunge portion of the falls is over 200 ft tall. The cave behind the falls is absolutely massive.

On the west side of the big Whale Creek amphitheater, theres a neat side falls in a deep slot, photos don't do it justice.
