Pop Out and Print Republished Manual

The Republished PSION Organiser II Developer Manual below contains the original 1989 manual and more up to date information on connecting to a Windows Computer. For those users new to or just getting started with the Organiser check out page 2 What do I need.

Important Note

Some advice to get these legacy DOS programmes to work correctly in the different versions of Windows.

Remember these 'old' DOS applications do not like long file names or complicated directory structures.  It is suggested to unzip them into a directory close to the root directory  something like C:\PSION. Also Jaap produced an excellent paper 'Using Comms Link' (see page 52 of the manual below) that has hints and tips on working with Windows.

Then ensure you are using the latest versions (3.20) of the applications. There are two ZIP archives available on the internet DevKIT.zip which contains the older files from the original floppy disk and  DevPACK.zip which Dave, Boris and Jaap put together which has all the latest versions along with additional files, notes and information (see contents list below). There is a creating programme pack Hint, Tips and Check List (here)

Use DevPACK.ZIP in DOSBox
